MEET MISS CASEY

Casey quickly learned her passion was Irish step dancing after watching Riverdance at 5 years old. She pursued her dream of becoming an Irish step dancer with the Mulkerin School in West Haven, CT.  Casey started off as an assistant teacher with the Mulkerin School and began teaching her own classes in college. After graduating college, Casey begun the Irish Step program at Westbrook Dance Academy. In 2022, Casey officially put the Irish dance program in her name.

Throughout Casey's Irish step career she had many opportunities to perform with world renowned artists like Natalie MacMaster.  Casey also performed in Ireland with the Mulkerin Schools performance troupe and earned two National titles from the NAIDF organization.  With these titles, she was able to qualify for the WIDA World Championships.

Casey has been teaching at Westbrook Dance Academy since 2014.  In July 2017, Westbrook Dance Academy’s competition team won first place at Starpower’s National Championship Competition with their choreographed piece, “Warriors.”  Casey is a member of the Rince Tuatha Nua (RTN) Irish dance organization and planning to

pursue her TCRG.

Casey enjoys passing along the love of Irish dancing, music and its culture to her students in her hometown of Westbrook, CT.
